BRIGHT: Building Resilience after Injury: A Growth and Healing Toolkit

PI: Timothy Doenges, Ph.D.

Funding: Colorado Springs Health Foundation

Project Description

This project is a 3-year collaboration between the Lyda Hill Institute for Human Resilience and local hospitals to provide early intervention behavioral health care to people who have recently been injured. Hospital patients who have been injured recently can access a menu of services that includes text message support, monitoring of mental health symptoms, access to a psychoeducational website, use of a structured web-based intervention (coming in early 2022), and individualized psychotherapy treatment.

Participant Expectations and Eligibility

Anyone who has recently sustained an injury and visited a hospital is eligible for this program. Those who agree to receive our services will also be asked to allow their data to be used in research, but they may participate in the program whether they agree to the research component or not.
